After a couple of years being fixed at £29 (apparently it went up to £30 but no one though to tell us!) for a couple of years subs are to set to rise to £35. For your information subs are set by Ashdown District and they say the raise is to help fund participants to the next World Scout Jamboree. ( 22nd World Scout Jamboree - Kristianstad Sweden 2011 INFO)
Don't worry yet, the change doesn't come into effect until the beginning of the Summer term (ie after Easter).
Finally, just to remind you, subs are payable within the first few weeks of term and cheques should be made payable to 'Tullis Explorer Unit'. Thankyou.
